Script-to-Screen: Little Women

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How do you adapt a beloved classic for the big screen? Sit down with Robin Swicord as she unpacks Little Women’s journey from novel to script to screen, and how the story evolved throughout the process. Using specific scenes as examples, Swicord will discuss writing a well-balanced ensemble piece, distilling a two-hour film from a detailed saga of source material, and the role of female storytellers in recreating this enduring tale of girlhood.

Those who enrolled in the advance sign-up for this session are required to show up 15 minutes early and will be admitted first. The panel will then open to remaining Badge holders.
